Col.V.V. Pashnev was Commander of Radio Connections of the Black Sea Naval Airforce till 1983. I do not know how thos watch came to Bulgaria, but the fact, that it’s dated 1982 reminds of the large scale allied military exercise of the Warsaw Pact “Shield 82″, that took place in Bulgaria. This largest in history WP military demonstration was called by western military analytics “The 7 – hour nuclear war”.
